ArtBridge is now accepting art on an ongoing basis. Your submissions will be considered for all ArtBridge exhibitions that do not have sufficient time for an open call. You may submit here while simultaneously submitting the same, or different, works to specific ArtBridge projects.
You may submit as many individual pieces or series as you see fit. Series must not exceed ten images.
- All genres of art, except film/video, are allowed (though film/video stills are permitted).
- Images should measure approximately 800px on their longest side and saved at roughly 72dpi (neither has to be exact).
Social Media Fellowship
ArtBridge is seeking a social media fellow. This 2-month fellowship is designed for current students or recent graduates who want to develop their social media and video editing skills, while exploring the fields of public art, community engagement, and nonprofit management. In particular, we are seeking someone local, dynamic, and creative!
This fellowship will include considerable hands-on work experience; our hope is that someone in this role will be available to plan excursions to our different installations, coordinate site visits and interviews with artists, and capture on-the-ground video content.
The position is fully remote; you plan your own excursions to different install locations. You do not need to be based in NYC to apply, but you should have easy access to the city. You will be expected to work five hours per week. Total stipend is $1,000 (approximately $25/hour).
Objectives:
- Create short-form video content (Reels): conduct interviews with artists, capture artists at work, film real-time installations
- Write captions for content based on interactions with artists, etc.
- Create content that feels authentic and celebratory of our artists and their work
Qualifications:
- Experience with video editing, interviewing, captioning content
- Strong understanding of social media, especially Instagram and LinkedIn
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Capacity to travel across all five boroughs
- Flexibility to support 5 hours per week
- Current student or a recent graduate, with a focus on communications, film, fine arts, or a related field
Details:
- Remote and flexible; you plan your own hours and coordinate install visits with artists
- Approximately, every two weeks you create a new post for us to share
- You will receive a stipend of $1,000 for your time, willingness, and efforts
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with a single fellowship awarded, which will start in early April.
